Inspired by my family of educators and driven by my love of learning and for being a catalyst to thriving, I attained a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Arts in Positive Youth Development. I am a dreamer and an innovator who envisions and works toward building a world where all individuals are supported and empowered to become caring, responsible, and productive members of society.

My superpower is seeing the potential in people and helping them reach it through coaching. This has been demonstrated in my work choices; over the past 15 years, I've worked in various youth empowerment and community-building efforts both locally and nationally including the Muslim Youth of North America, The Madinah Project, and several other community and youth projects.

In my spare time, I am is a dabbling artist, third space pioneer, interfaith advocate, recreational traveller, family chef and fervent reader. I am skilled in Event Planning, Volunteer Management, Research, Coaching and Mentorship, Religion, Teaching and Program/Product Development.
